Eric's Bio
One misconception people have about our firm is that we only provide tax preparation services. We also provide the following services – Tax Planning, Payroll, QuickBooks support including training, Bookkeeping, Consulting & Advisory, & Sales Tax.
One item I cannot leave home without is unfortunately my smart phone. It contains access to so many things at the touch of a few buttons that I use almost every day – bible, work, communication with others, calendar, weather, news, etc. I do try and unplug as much as possible when I am on vacation.
The most important lesson learned in life so far is that the bible is a road map for life. One of the hardest lessons is from the bible in Luke 6:37 “Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.”
I thought I was going to be in the medical field when I grew up. I found out very quickly after my first college chemistry class that the field was not for me. Even though I always did extremely well in Math & Accounting classes in high school I initially did not want to be in those fields.

Denise R. Thrams, EA
Tax Manager

715-254-0917 or
715-669-5352 ext. 1004
Denise's Bio
Denise has been a Tax Manager with Reis & Reis since September 2021. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and is an Enrolled Agent (EA).
The biggest misconception about my job is that this profession is boring. There are so many different types of businesses we get to learn about and different tax situations with every client, which makes no two days on the job exactly alike.
When asked what she cannot leave home without, my purse. Too much stuff in there that I “might” need.
When not at work, Denise enjoys baking, going to casinos with her mother and sister, crafting, DYI house projects and especially traveling. She also loves spending time with her family when possible.

Stacy's Bio
Her greatest accomplishment is obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in college. When she grew up, she thought she was going to be between a farmer & an accountant.
One thing Stacy can’t leave home without is her pants.
Outside of work, Stacy is mostly found spending time with her kids. One of her favorite hobbies that she picked up is growing a garden to be able to have fresh produce. Her kids really enjoy watching their seeds grow. Other things Stacy enjoys doing is swimming, camping and going on adventures with her kids.

Tonya H. Bender
Senior Accountant QuickBooks Pro Advisor
tonyab@reiscpa.com
715-409-2061 or
715-223-6335 ext. 1104
Tonya's Bio
Her greatest accomplishment is her 4 children. They make her proud every day.
Most important lesson learned in life so far: Moments are to be cherished because time goes too fast.
Tonya cannot leave home without her coffee mug. Whether it has coffee in it or water, she has to take it with.
Outside of work, Tonya loves the outdoors. Her favorite pastime in the summer is gardening and kayaking or boating. In winter, she can be found curled up with a good book.

Tabatha's Bio
Tabatha says she cannot leave home without a cup of tea to enjoy on the car ride. Other than that, it seems like she also cannot leave home without her two children.
The biggest misconception people have about my job is we aren’t tax collectors. We help people use and implement tax savings strategies so they owe less tax.
The most important lesson learned in life so far is to surround yourself with people who are going to encourage you to become a better version of yourself and reach your goals.

Molly's Bio
Molly says the biggest misconception people have about her job is, “Oh, you’re an accountant, you must be good at math.” Yeah, no. I do just fine with math, but use pretty basic skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide) and always keep a calculator handy.
Growing up, Molly had thought she was going to be a teacher.

Anna's Bio
The biggest misconception people have about her job is because she works at an accounting firm, that means she is good at math, specifically mental math…not true. Calculators are fantastic!
Anna’s most important lesson learned in life so far: I have learned to ask myself if what I am upset about is going to matter in the next 5 minutes? 5 hours? Or 5 days? If the answer is no, move on and let it go.

Shannon's Bio
One thing Shannon cannot leave home without is her Chapstick.
Most important lesson learned in life so far is no matter how well you plan, things may not go according to your plan, so you have to be flexible and figure something else out.
